The Full PenRad System

The PenRad Mammography Information System is a complete solution for all MQSA auditing and tracking requirements. The system automatically generates instant narrative reports, tracks all data for statistical analysis and data mining.

The system will save you time and money while providing valuable tools for QA/QC, outcome analysis, statistics, marketing, strategic and financial planning. It creates efficiencies and productivity for your facility by generating patient result letters, recall and reminder letters in mail ready formats.

There are many modules that adapt to the MIS to enhance workflow and create efficiencies at your facility. Items such as FFDM compatibility, PenFetch smart image distribution, soft copy synchronization all save time and ease workflow. Dexa report generation, appointment scheduling, QA/QC film, PenScan for digitization of priors, and various HL7 and Dicom modules are also available.

The PenTrac System

This system is for facilities that only want to perform tracking, MQSA auditing, statistical analysis, and generate examination and recall letters. Letters can be created in multi-language formats and hundreds of administrative reports are available for program evaluation and data mining. The system meets MQSA auditing and tracking recommendations.

The facility continues to generate the narrative report by dictating and/or transcribing in the usual manner thus maintaining the same workflow pattern for the radiologists.

The system can be installed on customer supplied hardware or can be operated as a web based product thus eliminating hardware requirements. Direct support is available directly through PenRad on a 24/7 availability.

The system is ideal for facilities that do not want to create narrative reports in a structured report format.

The PenReader System

A solution for tracking without tracking. The PenReader module utilizes adaptive learning and pattern recognition technology that eliminates manual data input for MQSA tracking and auditing functions.

With the module the radiologist continues to dictate narrative reports and the module automatically extracts information from the narrative reports. Information such as exam type, letter type, recall interval and BI-RADS are automatically extracted and stored for MQSA audit, tracking, statistical analysis and unresolved case report generation.

The PenReader extracts data in real-time from the HL7 results message thus saving the staff and radiologists time by freeing them from data entry. The data is extracted based on learned phrases from the narrative reports and stores the reports for review and reference.

The module is ideal for facilities that want to dictate narrative reports and save time by eliminating manual data entry.
