Password Tutorial - Passwords are essential for system security and
ensuring HIPAA compliance. Based on system configuration, password may
expire after a pre-determined amount of time. A message will appear
(starting 10 days before expiration) indicating the number of days remaining
before the user is required to enter a new password.
The procedure for changing
passwords is the same for all users. Access to the security windows may be
made by using the Change Password button for the user that is
currently logged into the system, or by entering the user's account through
the Administration button.
